Studying / Minor site changes
Not a lot to report. All I have been doing is studying and hanging around the house.
The studying is going well. I finished the LSAT Logic Games Bible which proved to be very helpful. I am now spending 6 to 13 minutes on the logic games. I was averaging 15+ minutes which was far too long. You are only given 8 minutes and 45 seconds per game so if I skip a hard question or two per game, I should be there now.
I started reading the Kaplan LSAT 2006 Edition Premier Program and have to say that it is not that helpful. The logic game section was very weak, and added nothing that I hadn’t already covered in the other book. There were a number of errors in the section that were quite frustrating. I hope to finish the rest of the book today. I still need to read the logical reasoning, reading comprehension, and writing sample sections. Hopefully, these will be more helpful than the logic game section.
I made a number of minor changes to the site. The most prominent one would be the menu on the left. It now has a light grey background and a thin black border that help to distinguish it from the rest of the site. I changed all the fonts to arial. A few were monospace and I didn’t like that look. I also added a spell checker to the comments box so that you people can comment without fear of misspelling things. I made sure that all the xml and css code were valid using the W3C validators. I added a cheesy icon that will show in the address bar if you use firefox. I added a hit counter. I added a few new categories. Lastly, I cleaned up a bit of the interface to make it work correctly with firefox.
The only other bit of news is that UCSD finally awarded me my degree. It has now been confirmed. I am officially a college graduate :). Also, it has been confirmed that I did get summa cum laude honors meaning that I was in the top 2% of my graduating class

Amazing my friend! Things look great on the site and You’re degree is an amazing accomplishment. I applaud your efforts! Only if I were able to accomplish such a feat!
