GMAT Procrastination

I have still not started studying for the GMAT and I take it in a week and half….AHHHHH! I bought some books on-line that should arrive sometime today. This afternoon, I have another shot in the series I need for the rabies vaccination. Then my dad and I are going flying in the Mooney to take a look at the Santa Monica mountains, and then I head down to San Diego for an Aviation Safety Counselor meeting with the FAA.

I wanted to go flying yesterday, and drove down the airport with my dad only to find that the nose tire on the airplane was totally flat. The plane flew just a week ago so I don’t know what happened. We pumped it up and it held air just fine. While I was loading some stuff into the baggage compartment, however, my dad herd a pop and all the air rushed out of the tire so that it was completely flat in a second or two. I think it might be a valve stem or something. Bill’s air service is changing it this morning before I fly down to San Diego.

I got a new lens for my camera and have been busy taking a bunch of pictures. I got a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM. Here is a review of the lens. The lens is much heaver and longer than the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens that came with my camera, but there is no comparison. The quality of the new L-series lens is far superior. It focuses faster, has a longer range, the pictures it takes are MUCH better, the lens has a constant f/4 aperture throughout the entire zoom range, and best of all, the lens is image stabilized which allows hand holding at slower shutter speeds. All I have to say is that I love this lens :) .

I started off taking some pictures of the girls doing a yoga lesson:
Girls bent over

Girls with their legs up

Then I took a few of my little brother Michael outside in his vibrating chair:

Mikey likes it

This picture reminds me a lot of one of me when I was a little guy:
Mikey reminds me of me

Krista had let her dog batman out into the yard and I suddenly noticed that he was no longer lurking around…..apparently he got out to the front and was playing in traffic……good dog ;) . I snapped this picture of Krista bringing him back home:

We then suited up for a quick stroll with Mikey in the stroller. I grabbed this picture of him in the house before we left:

And then I had to get one of Mikey and mom on the corner of our street:

As I get closer and closer to China, I am getting more and more excited. I can almost taste it now :)

Next time…..Same bat time, same bat channel, etc.

Fantastic detail and composition. I will get to work on a collagfe. Eagerly anticipating the CD. Don’t procratinate too long for the GMAT.

Those pictures are just wildly and grossly amazing and vivid. No other comments…one more though, you like procrastinating, you know. It’s all about the pressure isn’t it? j/k ^_^

Thanks guys……pressure…..what you talking about?!?!?! Something like taking two insanely tough tests that will directly influence the next 4 years of my life in 2 weeks, ending a day before I move to China for 10 months….a country that speaks a language I don’t know at all…..nah….no pressure :)
