Shijiazhuang and my mom – days 2 and 3
My mom seemed to really enjoy 石家庄 (shíjiāzhuāng) which made me happy. During her time here, she had a chance to meet most of my close friends, eat at some of my favorite restaurants, see 2 bath houses, do some shopping, meet my girlfriend 申琦 (shēn qí)’s mother, learn how to play 麻将(má jiāng), take 2 Chinese lessons at my school, see my apartment, ride an electric bicycle around town, learn to make dumplings, taste 申琦 (shēn qí)’s cooking, buy fake DVDs for $1 a piece, and visit a tea shop. All in all, it was not only a lot of fun to show her around, but really nice to have someone from back home here for a change.
Next stop, 上海(shànghǎi)…..HERE WE COME!!!!

Andrew Glad all went well! Terry returned this morning to Hawaii. She had a great
time in China and brought back many treasures. She is tired but looks great. Must be
the Chinese Cuisine.
