F1 U.S.A
The last F1 race was not televised live here in China due to the world cup which took precedence. This week, I figured that the race would once again get the axe, but I was wrong. I was getting ready to hop into bed around 1 A.M. and get some shut-eye when my girlfriend 申琦 (shēn qí) told me that the F1 race was on CCTV5. WHAT!?!?!? I quickly put down the toothbrush and watched the pre-race waiting for the start. My favorite driver, Kimi Räikkönen, wound up getting his car wrecked on the 1st lap. I was so frustrated, and so tired, that I turned off the T.V. and went to sleep. DOH!
Schumacher and Ferrari wound up doing well, however, and Montoya also didn’t finish the race, so I am not totally bitter.

Davidegianni….yeah….I’ll keep that in mind. The 4th best driver in the world, according to the current F1 overall rankings, who was rated 2nd overall at the end of the season last year, and is still only 27 years old…..sucks. You make a good point!

I know that secretly you also wanted to watch the World Cup, and see what Italy was going to do. I forgot to tell you that one of the guys at the office owns an amazing Ferrari, and gave me a ride home from Beverly Hills in it. You would have enjoyed it so much more than me.
Love,
Dad

Dad……I actually didn’t see any of the games. Sounds like fun riding around in the Ferrari
